uploading to server/viewing live

Here's the deal. I'm new to FLASH. I made a 1 frame, drag and drop movie (and for a test just a 1 frame swf with some squiggles and doodles). I used the automatic default publish setting from FLASH 4 so I get the HTML with object and embed, and a SWF file. I can view the finished product locally (Netscape 4.something and Internet Explorer 5)

Here's where it gets puzzling: when I upload the html and swf files from my Mac to the server, I can't view the drag and drop movie or the simple doodles (I use Fetch3.0.3). When I have someone on a PC upload the files we can all see the pages.

Am I missing some setting or a preference??? Is this a "feature"? Does anyone have any ideas???

hi zuk,
if you haven´t done so far update flash4 to flash4.0a.
then download the updated html templates for flash4 and install them as described in the readme.

Thanks me2222 for the suggestion. My program now runs better, but I still can't view the page live. I wonder what else I could be doing wrong? I'll keep trying.

Maybe a wrong setting in fetch?
Open the preferences in fetch and click the "Upload".
The settings should be:
"Default text format: Text"
"Default non-text format: Raw Data"
