5 minutes with trial first problem

Hello guys ,l am new here and having just dl the trial ,l followed the help file and was trying to do a transition ,but it didnt animate it smoothly to the last frame it just appeared at frame 1 then disappeared at frame2 then apeared again at the last frame.

I had text affect that went from frame 1 to frame 17 ,l imported a jpeg image and placed it just outside the box ajusted size and opacity ,then append copy to last frame ,then drag the image to centre and brought opacity back up ,then when l play movie once ,the image disappears at the start and appears at the end ,what happened to the transition ?? thanks guys

I am not following what is happening here.

The animation is exactly what you see when you step through the frames using the scroll bar on the frame navigation toolbar. If a shape is not in a frame, it will not appear in the movie when the movie is played. Does that help?

Yes Bob thanks , what l have done here is expected the image to animate from start frame1 to end frame17 ,silly me :) , l should have known that the image must be placed on every frame with opacity and size ajustments made on each frame .:)
