Hi Djb:

Hi Djb:
First, I'd like to congratulate you on a design well done. This is one of the best Swish made designs I have ever seen. There isn't anything technically stunning about it, but your eye for design and style is outstanding.
I have a couple of technical comments:
1. The main intro page was very low on the page at
800 x 600 resolution, so I changed my display to 1024 x 768 and it looked great, however, your popup windows don't seem to be centered at either resolution. I don't know if you are using "left" and "top" window properties to center the popups, but if you do, just take the screen width and subtract the width of the popup from that, then divide by 2 to get the "left" value, then do the same with the height to get the "top" value.
2. After a while, the sound track gets a little annoying. Especially so when you are viewing another movie, and both sound tracks are playing at once. I would add "sound off/sound on" buttons.
3. I don't like chromeless windows. I don't see any need for it on your site, either. Personally, I don't like the main site to be dragable. It is okay for popups, etc., but I think that the main site should be embedded in a standard browser window.
4. Under "Philosophie" I really like the slides, but I would add On Roll Over (stop), on Roll Out (play) to them.
Overall, a great job! Keep up the good work!
James

Hi, DJB,
Nice & clean. You use the "less-is-more" fairly well. I'd suggest having your sound begin as your coloured object start sweeping by instead of after. It will make the motion fx more "real".
One thing...James mentioned the 1024x768 thing to view your site properly. It's in your best interest as a web developer to offer an 800x600 version of your site and give the viewer the option, as 8x6 is the standard screen resolution. Normally, I wouldn't have even clicked on the link knowing it was in a higher res, but I couldn't help it with James' good review and all. It was worth the click. ;)
Keep it up ;)
Fred

that script to open up the window like thatr is amazing do u mind posting it?i love IT!
great job
Hi,
I loved the site, but you may have a problem with some of the sound files you are using. One of them is Kruder and Dorfmiesters remix of Depeche Mode and I would be pretty suprised if its available royalty free.
Cheers,

Your site has a really smooth, natural feel. Well done. Loved the chromeless window too.
Looking through the previous responses, I get the impression that the chromeless window thing is a mixed bag in terms of popular opinion... Personaly, it's on the top of my superfly tricks list ;)

Your site is a treat to the eye and a pleasure to navigate.
Have to agree with James ... one of the best swish sites I've seen so far. With regard to the chromeless windows, keep in mind that this feature doesn't work in NN or aol.
Keep up the good work.Smalco

I suggest in your philosophy section to let the user change the scrolling of the selections, rather than having to wait until it reappears again on the other side. Easilly done with a couple of reactions. As for chromeless, I had my site in a chromeless pop-up, but I changed it to a normal page because of user's conserns. The rest looks beauty.

I liked it. Very smooth and it seems soo profesional, even with Swish. How did you make the SWF open by itself? With no web browser stuff, in example the adress bar at top of explorer.
