mp3 slows down?!!??!

I have an file that I compiled in a popular music app... I exported it as an MP3... it plays perfectly in windows media player, winamp, and all of the mp3 players I have...

when I set the mp3 as the background sound for a KM movie, it plays slower...as if it were an album on the wrong speed... the music and voices are all distortedly slower.

I can email the files in question if needed... any ideas?

Is the problem present when you play the swf from your local disk? Is the sound a loaded movie or is it a frame sound in the main movie?

I am playing from local disk... the sound is a mp3 that is played using the MOVIE >> SOUND AND ACTIONS >> setting it as the sound for key frame 1.
