I need your opinions about this new online game project:

But just remember that this is the main engine (not the final game)!
cheers

Is this KoolMoves?
If so, not sure what help you require?
If not KM, you really should post this sort of thing in one of the other forums...

Its a good idea to check the other forums even if it is in KM...

You are most likely to find colaborators in that forum.
Lots of posts in general about using the SWF format for games, alng with some good ideas for games.

Sorry for asking here some opinions about this project.

I don't need the FlashKit GAMES forum b.t.w.
sorry again.

Its not a matter of being friendly or not. Its a matter of pointing out more resources.
The game looks fine... and what you did seems to work well and seems optimized as it is around 115 K. Its a matter of what is trying to be acomplished.
If you are looking for general gaming stratagies or for feedback on SWF games you are more likely to get it on the Games Forum instead of here, especially if the Flash Authoring Tool was used to make the Game. Even if it was done in KM you may want to get the feedback from there. Matt used to constantlty ask for advice on the Art and Anime forum even though he was using KoolMoves so that he could get responses from there as it is a wider audience. Brian used to do the same. I often consulted the scripting and backend board for javascripting questions.
If you are looking for scripting advise with KoolMoves then this is a good place to pose the question but if the game is in Flash it probably isn't such a good place to ask as you are more likely to get more and more varied responses from a diffrent resources.
with that said...
As far as a site check- It seems to work well. There are only 2 enemie characters. I'm not sure but they seem to follow the person using a simple AI. As there are no walls can't really comment beyond that.
The background seems to be a simple scrolling background. There have been multiple Flash Doom Clones that used to be hosted at Flashkit before they dumped the Flashkit Arcade.
Perhaps a slightly different aproach to the weapons in the engine. Perhaps a method more simulare to American McGee's Alice in which you use numbers or brackets to swap weapons displayed as an icon then use the mouse to fire.
Another problem right now seems to be the walls- or lack of them. Not sure what technique would be most usefull for this but as I said before Flashkit Members have done Doom Clones before and they could probably point out ways to solve this.
The AI might need some more work especially if you add walls. Perhaps you also may want to have a Spawn Brush after you add walls.
