actionscript help

hey guys. i really like koolmoves (thanx Bob) and i'm a newbie. i want to get into actionscripting and i'm assuming KM can handle a few functions. where and how do i begin? is there a book or somethin' to help me start out with the language...i was readin' a few posts on cursor icons, sounds, etc. be kind and help a newbie out! thanx..
