can we do a animation whos run over a video , i mean , the final product will be a video , and i want to create some animation in flash over that video, know how?

im new to video and flash but it looks easy enough to do using flash mx.

1. import video into flash mx
2. create a new layer above video
3. create animations on that layer

simple eh? im proberly wrong,, but that seems how. and thats how i did it..

you can do it by exporting a file into say AVI and then import it to your fav. effects editor and then you can apply the more effects ...
