lol
it's all good. I'm still trying to find a good list of games for my Gameboy SP. I think I'm coming to the end of Metroid now, and I've unlocked all the fighters in Super Street Fighter II... um, Mario Kart is about to near the end too, and Super Mario Bros. is boring me.
any good games out?
Breath of Fire II and Shining Force (import) are both calling my name.

Evidently, this little treat, the SP version, has yet to make it to Brazil. I was at a birthday party on Saturday, and was talking to some of the kids there who had regular GB Advances, and was explaining the new backlight for the screen.
They were into it.

Sega came up with the backlight years ago with the GameGear. Nintendo is about 10 years behind and needs to play catch up now.

You're right, of course, but that Sega thing was an ungainly battery hog with a limited selection of games.
nintendo need to play catch up with who? There's no one else in the (handhelds) market.

The N-Gage, perhaps? You know, the $400 taco phone that requires you to disassemble the unit to insert a new game? ;)
Gerb - Chu Chu Rocket is a game that always accompanies me on long trips. Rockman and Forte just came out in the US (def. one of the cooler games in the Mega Man series (not X or EXE). the BOF series are great old-school RPGs, and Final Fantasy Tactics should be out soon in Japan...

GameGear was a hog unless you used the rechargable battery kit (kind of like the GameBoy SP but you have to pay extra for it). I agree that it was limited in games but the few games it did have were better then what i've played so far on GameBoy Advance. Also, I meant that they still need to catch up with competing handhelds from 10 years ago, not current ones. They are just barely thinking of adding the features that people loved in the GameGear.
I am playing Pokemon (Sapphire version):D
Chu chu is one of my big faves

don't have SP yet (i'll probably wait till i start working again this summer), but i'm thinking of buying a Gamecube pretty soon, the whole splintercell connectivity seems pretty cool, as well as playing original metroid w/ metroid fusion etc.
btw .. about the gamecube, anyone know when that offer where they give you a free game (metroid! :) ) ends, or where I could find this info?

Gerbick:
If you are into Tactical war games(i.e. Final Fantasy Tactics) then you need to get Advance Wars and Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis. Also a really good solid RPG would be Golden sun, I play these games almost religiously. Plus Golden Sun II and Advance Wars 2 come out this year.
