new 3dfa website design

Has anyone seen the 3dfa site yet? I noticed that it's been updated, and getting to the beta is much easier now. Kudos to the developers for finally getting this done!

I like this design much better. I would like to see the game examples that they had before on this site also.

Yes I know. They sure were NOT there! (Dang...) But the rest is very nice, and much more organized.

Yea, real cool new homepage. I didn't recognice that there is a new version of 3dfa but what i have seen yet is, that it's real sorry, that 3dfa v4 doesn't include video-import yet

I CAN"T BELIEVE THEY TOOK OUT THE EXAMPLES! I used those a lot! Bummer. They probably need examples to put up for v4
we should make some examples....... but for the hard examples we say this........................

I would imagine you are right that they are going to put up v4 examples.

The couple of things I'm trying to work out are XML and displaying dynamic HTML.

The XML I'm just doing wrong I think, the dynamic HTML is broken on export but when it's working I should have a nice new guestbook example that is Way easier to do and understand, and a fraction of the file size.

And if I can manage to work out the XML there are some VERY interesting possiblities with that one.

I'll be a little slower doing examples as my work has increased and I've been trying to stay focus on the paying stuff :)

I don't know what's keeping that either. My guess is we could still be between v4b2 and either v4b3 of v4final simply because of that. But it's only an estimate. The development team probably needs extra time to work out the kinks in whatever the heck is causing the delay by being "put into" 3dfa, so to speak. It will likely take a little more time. But don't worry - they're also planning on a "packaged project" format that holds copies of all images and sounds in the project so you don't have to pack the originals with the movie source (or at least seem to be from word here on the forum), so that is also worth the wait, and there's no need to feel terribly bad.
