I am designing/drawing images for my web site in version 3.7, but I also have the upgrade to version 4.0 and would like to install and use that version as well, (also, so I can view files made with 4.0 on the same computer). Is it possible to run two versions on the same hard drive (maybe open up Koolmoves version 4.0 to a new folder on my hard drive), or would that cause a conflict? If not, then I'll just install 4.0 on my other computer.

I haven't tested it with 2 versions but I don't see why not. I open more then 1 KM sometimes when testing something but this has been with the same version (ex., open KM then double click the KM icon again to open another).

But I guess you would have to try it to see.

Just wondering, why do you want to keep the old version for?

If I design images in the older version (3.70), the files can be opened by anyone with that old version and above. If I design with the new version (4.0), then the people with the older version will not be able to open and use the files. At least that is the way I understand it. (I cannot open version 4.0 files with version 3.7 or below).

I wasn't aware of that. Hopefully everyone updates there version though unless there time is out and have to pay for newer versions. Thanks for pointing that out.

I just installed the old version and ran them at the same time and everything seems to work. :D

If you double-click on files to open them, the last opened version will assume the association with .fun. I am not sure out the start menu works -- it you see clearly 2 versions. If you create desktop shortcuts to the 2 versions, that should work OK. My partner has probably 10 versions on this machine.
