I have been working on a new web page. The problem I have is, I have a Main Flash and I am creating other small flashes to insert as objects... well it is also a problem with images.

Once the KM Flash is finished, or so I think, I put it on my site and then gleam until I see something I want to change. Now then, I have started showing something, say on frame 10, which will go to the end of the flash, possibly with some moves on the page. With KM this all looks kool and smooth after the initial creation. That's cause you just copy from one frame to the next and if you move it the tweens make it smooth. However, if you want to change the inserted flash movie you must delete all the frames after the insertion and do the copy frame advance and edit or you loose all that smoothness.

Did I miss something in the help files and tutorials or is this something not expected?? Any ideas??
Thanks
Chuck

You can only do very few things to a SWF Object such as transformining it (Scale, Flip, Rotate, ECT), treat it as a movieclip for scripting, or positioning/move it. You do not need to delete the the frames after the Insertion as a SWF object. All you need to do is select the SWF Object and copy it. Then move to the next frame and paste it. In the new frame position it where ever you like or transform it (It will tween like a shape more or less).

If you want the SWF object in all the frames after you paste it then use the paste to end option and cut(instead of copy). Likewise you can use paste to begining (if you want it before the frame).

You can also change the selection scope if want to make a smoother transition. To do this switch the selection scope from the current frame to this current frame till the end. KoolMoves will ask you if you want to change the other frames each time you move the object or transform it (can we turn this off in prefferences?) but that's OK. Start from the first frame, Move the object it and the object in the later frames will move also.
