Launching Media Player via a Flash button?

hi all,

how do i launch media player and play a movie via a flash button? in other words, i wanted to assing some kind of actionscript to a flash button so that, when it's clicked on, the script will launch an external media player (i.e., media player, quicktime, realone player)and play a movie.

From a PC projector file you can use JStart to open the default player.
