Exporting to AVI

Hey guys,

Im new to exporting video from FlashMX to AVI.

Ive set up a nice movie at DV size (720 x 576) with some animations and alpha blends etc over some stock imagery...however, when i export to AVI, the animations dont come out, but the pertaining images underneath do?

Is it because Ive setup the animations at MC's and not graphics?

Any recomendations would be helpful.

you need to convert movie clips to graphics
or check out the flashants SWF2Video

yeah I found the same problem when I did that.

As far as I know - the animations need to be on the main timeline and NOT in movieclips!

Magic Swf2Avi (http://www.effectmatrix.com) can do that perfectly.

but you still have to have everything static in the main timeline, right?
