I try to create a very simple button...
See the .fun (http://www.guthene.com/kool/bug_button.fun)
and the .swf (http://www.guthene.com/kool/bug_button.swf)
and the icon .gif (http://www.guthene.com/kool/S_F_OKAY.GIF)
left=1 icon image
right = same icon defined as a button...
Why the image is not the same ?
From where are these 3 black points coming ?
oups...the first links are bad...
What is this dummy screen...KComponent ?

1) For small transparent images, use 1 pixel transparent edges.
In other words,if the image size is 16x16,the final size is 18x18.
In this way,"the images are the same".
2) those 3 (in fact 4) black points are the result of the issue presented above (the image content is shifted).
3) The dummy screen is ... your fault !
Don't include KComponents if not needed (see Export Options for your FUN file).
cheers

If you can't edit the original transparent image, another solution is to tune up the image (to shift a little bit its content).
See the attached file.

even if I think strange to change the original image for a button...now I have some explanations !
Hope this feature will be improved some day !
