Because you have more images in your swf file then an art museum. :D Plus there's 82 frames. If you're going to use that many images, make them optimized gifs. Use the load movie feature. Check the quality of your wav files. Use a preloader. Compress your swf file under export settings.

Why not use loadMovieNum and have each individual swf with its own preloader. That way you can have a 3meg site that seems like a small site.
