Hello,

I have a little problem with some elements in the animation library.
It occurs only with animated clip arts and text effects templates.

Sometimes (in fact most of the time), I click on an effect, I can hear the little "loading" noise but nothing appears...
It is important to say that it works sometimes and also I assigned each animation to the correct file.
I had the problem with the previous Koolmoves version but I just reinstalled the newest version and still there is no change.

Any suggestion about a solution ?

Thanks
Frédéric

No one has ever reported such a problem. I don't have any ideas. What are the specs of your computer?

I can have problems with the the librarys. If i pull out a lot of animations for several files, I will get to the point to were the library displays nothing. I then close koolmoves and reopen the program. I have 512 megs of mem and a 2,53Ghz pc. This is no big problem for me but it does happen.

Another way around this problem is to open the individual library files in File > Open and bypass the special library screens.

You might try slowing down. The code may be written that if an animation library element is in the process of loading, a new selection is ignored.

Thanks for the advice.
From what I noticed, it seems that it looks like a ram memory problem. Library works fine as long as my main animation is not open or rather light. Maybe 256 Kb is not enough...

256K should be plenty if you are running KM on its own,, I have 382/official 384, and I'm running a suite of 4 or 5 programs at the same time on a quite low spec machine as my workhorse. Celeron 1300 ,, 384 Ram .. and my ram rarely drops below 300 megas used at any one time. the CPU however does tend to suffer and it needs looking after. I think that the problem is elsewhere.
