Does anyone know how to make a flash program and convert it to DVD? If someone made an animation in koolmoves, and wanted to watch it on the tv, how could this be done?

At my job i started a drive to send supplies and goodies to the service men in Iraq. I was thinking about including a dvd of the people here along with any animations that someone may want to include.

I do have video wave from roxio. I never really looked at the menu until today and I seem to have all their products. So I am good there. I just need to figure out how to convert the swf to dvd. I do not even know what the file extension should be.

DVD uses the mpeg 2 format. There e tools such as this one to make it easier.

If you aren't to worried about the audio you can download swf2avi and convert your swf to avi.

Then add audio in to your avi.

Then download bbmpg and convert it to the dvd format.

I created my first movie.
Here is what I did to make a test DVD.
1. I took the lava lamp animation from koolmoves and made it into a
swf.
2. Converted it to avi with swf2avi.
3. Used Roxio video wave and formated to mpeg 2 (Roxio does this all for you). It even made a menu for the dvd remote control.
4. Played it in my home dvd player with my tv and it worked. Sound and pics were great. 38 mbytes for a 8 sec cartoon with menu and sound. The roxio software was 65 dollars and has about 20 programs but is consumer oreinted.

I could not get swf2avi to work with flash mx??? Worked the first time with koolmoves.

I guess the rules are to make the movie is
320 x 240, fps at 24
swf to avi
avi to mpeg3
Burn dvd.

Thanks for the help flashpulse. If I do get authorization to make this dvd, i will give you credit in there somewhere in the movie.
