Crashed and file won't open

Trying not to freak but the file I've been working on just crashed upon close and now won't open. I was trying to view a frame and it started telling me that all these files were suddenly missing, which had been previously played. So I saved my work and then closed. Upon closing I received the crash message. When I try to reopen that file, the program gives me the error message. I can open my other saved files though. I tried to reboot but that didn't work. I'm using XP. Should I try to reinstall Koolmoves or is something else causing the crash?

There is a backup file that was saved before the crash. It is named ~backup.fun.

Did you have a lot of other apps open while running KoolMoves?

I had MS Outlook running as I always do. That's it. I just tried to open backup and that won't open either. I have KM on another computer and I'm going to try and open that. I'm going to be upset if I can't open it at all after all the hours I put into it.
