sound file looping?

I got the MP3 to work but it doesn't play the whole file thru do i need to reformat to PCM? it does loop but only part of the song works.

Sounds like your Mp3 is a lot longer than your movie.

Try making an empty movie of 3 frames and name it what you want "holder.swf". Frame 2 load movie at level 1, "mymovie.swf" and also load movie at level 2 "myMp3.swf". Frame 3,"stop movie"
Now save your original movie without sound "mymovie.swf" and make another movie with only the soundtrack and pad out the frames to the length of the mp3 track "MyMp3.swf". You can now loop your original movie and the Mp3 movie should play till the end of the track. When you play your "holder.swf" it will load your other two movies and should play normally. You may have to pad out your holder movie to the Mp3 track length as well and also drop the "stop" command but try it this way first.

Thanks gusmus i'll give that a try not to familiar with what you suggested but i'll try it with a new longer mp3 she loved it anyhow:D

Use Views > Actions and Sounds. It will display the overlap of the sound with key frame.

Thanks again guys and now that winter is setting in maybe i can get back here more often and fool around with the program like to learn alot more and make good use of it, i have political statements to make LOL.
