I was away from flash games for a couple of years, but I'm back now:
Mortal Kombat in flash.
notes:
- 100% KoolMoves v4.7 (but I had many troubles because of the missing symbol-library).
- SWF resolution: 800 x 512
- 275 KB only
- more features soon
http://necromanthus.com/Games/ShockWave/MortalKombat.html
p.s.
because of the copyrighted materials, I had to embed the SWF file into a DCR file (ShockWave package).
So, the latest ShockWave plugin (v10.1) is required.
cheers

You did the grafix in Koolmoves? Got the 3-D perception and all. I assume it plays only this level because as soon as I lost the next level never came up. Then I won the next match and the kung lou never fell over:D

Adobe PhotoShop 8 (per pixel processing)
At this level of detail, flash (vectorial) drawings are NOT a good choice (doubled or tripled file size and decreased frame rate).

As I said before: more features soon (more fighting stances, spells, timer,a possible new character, etc)
But,anyway, I don't intend to rebuild the entire game !
p.s.
Talking about "Kung Lao never feel over", I like the idea.
ha ha ha

OI dont understand your reply. You drew the characters in photoshop 8 the exported as ???.
I also got axel 3d software, Just started the tutarial to learn it hoping I could make a better looking shoot up game. Similar to the one you created called preplix or the one that has the lake scence were you shoot at fish and a canoe and a frog, snake, etc. I don't know if axel is the best but it seems to be a lot like autocad which at one time I was pretty good at. Axel exen does the rendering and I assume script can be added to it.

as 255 bit PNG.
As I said before: "without flash (vectorial) drawings" (too many disadvantages).
KoolMoves is the flash environment, but I use sprites.
Just like in the original game ...

Very strange (no one else told me about this issue).
It's a flash game after all ...
Are you trying to press multiple keys (including SPACE) at the same time ?

Yeah, I'm pushing the cursor keys as well. Tried it again just a minute ago and still doing the same thing.

Possible invalid (wrong) hotkeys for browser/desktop.
Double check (and deactivate) them.

I have my DSL through SBC phone company which uses a custom yahoo browser. Which I believe is based off of IE.

I don't know anything about this "pseudo" browser, but try this:
Launch regedit, search and modify these entries:
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer]
Value Name: NoWinKeys
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disable restriction, 1 = enable restriction)
note: you may need to restart for the changes to take effect
