It's about time have been sending this request since flash 5. audas 08-10-2005, 09:32 AM What does site manager in HTML mean ? Chaos_Blader 08-10-2005, 09:38 AM Ya Know A File Manager a Form with File Upload That Stuff trionik 08-10-2005, 09:53 AM Yeah basicly when a site is dynamic you need to do a site manager for the client to go to to update his website . villain2 08-10-2005, 10:01 AM File uploading is without a doubt one of the few things that keeps me from doing all Flash sites. It'll be nice someday for the software to be a catch-all, but I doubt it ... I always thought it was kind of funny flash could handle dynamic information and transferring info from servers and what not, but you couldn't use it to upload a file. audas 08-12-2005, 05:59 AM Usually call them a content managment system when Im building them......as for the file upload this is generally refered to as a browse function, HEY thats whats its called in flash 8. >flashl!ght< 08-12-2005, 09:12 PM So how exactly does the file upload work? I see the example pops up the windows browse for dil dialog(nice!) but what actually happens when you select a file? flashkit.com
