Try this as a start up. It's free and has no adverts, you get a sub domain to start with and can buy a full domain later if you find that your site merits it.

Liked your site effort by the way. Now try editing the web interface you used and make it more interesting and in line with your paintings. By the time you've done a dozen interface edits you'll suddenly find that you don't need to use them any more and can make your own from scratch. Mind you,, I've had the same interface that you are using (edited) for about two years now,, Just too lazy to change it I suppose.

Thanks for the remarks about the site, yes i need to further create the site,i will hopefully turn it into a full domain presenting the art work of myself & children, however it will go slowly as im slow to learn.

still my place of work has asked me to create a small flash for them with photos from "fun days" etc.., so theres a lot of work to do.
