Anyone know if there is going to be a new release anytime soon?
I've had this version for quite some time and was hoping for some improvements, like support for video files..

You would think I'd know something but Alas I do not. I havent heard from ROB in quite some time, then he stated he was back at work on 3dfa but it has been several months and I haven't heard a thing. Ed (Kusco) has heard from him more recently and is actually doing the support for 3dfa now but I haven't seen him around lately either.

The product is basically dead for now, there are many serious bugs and the out put is still Flash 6. I still use 3dfa once in a while but had to move on to something that is kept more up to date. I still think the 3dfa interface is the best one around and the easiest to master but unless ROB shows up and updates the product I imagine I will be using 3dfa less and less

So what do you use? I've tried actual flash but it's soooo confusing.

Same problem here. I had to struggle to learn Flash MX 2004 (that's not a bad thing actually), but I agree that 3DFA is much, much, much more easy to use. When I need quick results I use 3DFA, otherwise I take more time and try to use Flash.

KoolMoves is terrific. Check out the forum here and the demo.
