ok I made a missile truck thing with wings and exported it to 3dfa. I put the missiles in the truck as seperate models so I could have them shoot out of the truck, one problem though. I went to animate 3d and all it gave me was the option to choose the whole big model, not the seperate models within it. Any help?

I'd suggest importing the truck as 1 model, and the missiles as separate models.
That way, you can animate each piece separately. A word of warning though: You can't do much with 3D animation from scripts, so it's pretty tricky to do anything interactive. 3D stuff has to be mostly simple frame-by-frame animation.

well yeh I know you could seperate the models but its really hard to place them in the right spot, any easy way to move models?

yeh i just tried moving it by changing the y,x,z ect and its really hard to get it where i want. Is there an easier way?

Okay I got over that whole thing above so nevermind, super new stupid problem. Okay I made a missile truck that shoots missiles. I made a "move 3d" thing in the scenes saying missile position.y=20 in 2 sec and position.z=20 in 2 sec (or something). So anyway, I had the truck facing me and I didnt change anything and the missile shot perfect. So now I wanted it to rotate so like in the movie it would rotate and be shooting so it would be all cool. So I said truck and missile rotation.y=360 in 10 sec. One problem was that it messed up the missile "Y" so the missile went off to the side. So then I figured I could just rotate the camera but then relized that there was no one I could do that during the movie cause there was no camera.y or anything. So any heelp or am I gona hae to do this frame by frame? :(

Frame by Frame dude.
Remember that flash doesn't really support true 3d rendering. 3dfa is simulating it with bitmaped graphics pre rendered at compile.

Well yeh, but this is more of a math problem then a "3dfa is stupid" problem. Let me make this easier.
1. Can I say "camerarotation.y=20" somehow using script and/or 3dfa function? If not go to 2.
2. The missile shoots by moving up 20 on the z axis and up 20 on the y axis, which makes it move at a like 40 degree angle lets say (totally made that angle up) and makes it look like its being shot out. When I rotate the Y axis of the missile to get a better view it messes it up cause it still wants to move accourding to the z,y, and x axis so it moves the same way it did before but now it looks like its going sideways. Now I could fix that by calculating in some more numbers but I what I want is it to, during the movie, circulate the missile while it shoots. NOW however when you rotate the CAMERA the x,y, and z axis stay the same for the individual missile and therefore it shoots in the right direction but there is no way I can find to make the camera rotate in the movie. Ah yeh I'm repeating myself. Any suggestions? If not, I 'll work on it.

OK, your asking the same questions I am now. Can you change the camera and stuff like that during the movie? I've been trying myself with no apparent luck. HMMMMM.
BTW - Cool truck!!!! Wings? Very good software. I was able to do simple stuff very quickly. I'll probably work more on that software as well. :)
