Hello everyone
thought I start this thread off as its something that really annoys me about flash (on the whole I love the software)
Why Oh why does flash allow you to export FLA files in .avi format and .mov format BUT NOT in their own FLV format?????
Its seems crazy that you don't even export in your own format. The thing is that I use and like to use flash to create small presentation movies for my company. I want to have these rather large swf's streaming off the site and would like to simple export as a FLV (true streaming format) rather than swf's then use a controller to play the FLV file...
At the moment im having to export as a swf, screen record the swf using Techsmiths Camtasia and then converting the avi into FLV... completely crazy!!!
Anyone else as frustrated as me???? Come on macromedia get your act together and let us export as FLV straight from FLA!
