Flash FLV Not Playing Online

When I have my flv video in my flash site it works perfect when I load locally. When I put it online though it doesn't work. I tried to connect to the file through typing the directory but it just says can't load .flv file. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong by any chance? I have both files in the same folder on my web server.

not all webservers are sert up to recognise the .flv extension. Alas I am no server admin just a wee flash programmer who had this exact problem yesterday, but the way I solved it was to found the guys in the tech department and tell them to reconfigure the webserver to allow flv files, so I dont actaully know _how_ to do it myself. The best thing I can recommend is speaking to who ever manages your webspace.
