DAT to Flash video - How to convetr??

HI pals,

I have a .dat video file and i need to insert it to flash. I believe there is some way to convert .dat into flash video. Ive tried premiere but the file format .dat is not supported by the sofware.

Anyone please flash.....

Hey
I presume that the file is a vcd or svcd. convert to mpg or avi first.
Otherwise check sorenson squeeze which a great converter of files... makes really small flv files which flash understands.

Thanks for the reply rohm...actually wat im in doubt is how to convert the file to mpg or avi so that i can convert it into flash video. I just went thro a forum and got a sugggestion of chnaging the extension of .dat video to .mpg. Ill try it out and let u know the result. Or otherwise i ll try sorenson squeeze.
