Here's an anaglyph that I'm working on. You'll need a pair of red/cyan glasses to view it. Make sure you have the red lense over the left eye. That's standard but I have seen it the other way around. ;)

What a beautiful image :)
Unfortunately I haven't got the prober glasses.
Do you also have experience with stereoscopic images ?

Very cool, I just happened to have the glasses on my desk as I was playing around with some PHP class that makes these from stereo images.
By the way the light colored tree on the right is farther back than the dark ones and so looks like it's cutting through them.

Yeah, I had done some images before as well as video. I noticed the "screen" option in filters and thought that I would give it a try in KM. Seems to work pretty good. ;)

Oh yeah, I probably should make that one a little darker. Do you have the regular paper glasses or the anachrome glasses? I have read that the anachrome glasses are alot better.

For some reason, your site is under siege.
If they'll continue in this way, you'll be down in less than 24 hours.
Do you have any protection for "those" SWF files ?

Thanks and that's ok. I didn't think very many people would have them. I myself, have a few different kinds of stereo glasses. I guess I'm just geeky like that. ;)

Are you talking about the flash games I host for you? I currently have 179GB of transfer left for the month. I should be ok.

I'm working on it now. That makes me wonder if my stats are up to date now. I might have less bandwidth then I thought. Oh well, like you said, there's only 3 days left. ;)

wow how do you make images like that

wow how do you make images like that
How:
1.) Create a object of any sort and convert it to a movie-clip.
2.) Copy and paste your movie-clip. (so you have to exact movie-clips now)
3.) Edit the bottom layer movie-clip and change the red values of each shape to "0".
4.) Go back to the main timeline.
5.) Edit the top layer movie-clip and change the green and blue values of each shape to "0".
6.) Go back to the main timeline.
7.) Select the top layer movie-clip, if not already selected.
8.) Select "Effects, Blend Mode, Screen" from the menu and select ok.
9.) Move the top layer movie-clip slightly left or right of the bottom layer movie-clip.
Tips:
1.) When originally creating shapes, select colors that have a red, green and blue value. Also the red value should have a 125 or higher value. Do this until you get the idea. Darker colors are a little tricky to do.
2.) Shifting the top layer movie-clip left or right will either pull it forward or backwards when viewing through the stereo glasses.
3.) Not all of the shapes/movie-clips have to have the stereo effect. A non-stereo layer that sits between 2 stereo layers will look like it has the effect, as long as you position the stereo's layers top "red" layer correctly.
4.) Make sure you have any kind of scene background to set the effect. A plain white background won't give much effect.
5.) Sometimes you might get a ghosting effect. Either change the background layer or scene color. Or purchase some "anachrome" glasses. I read that these glasses are suppose to reduce that some.
Post your anaglyph if you create one. ;)

Where does one get these glasses? I did once years ago, took a military flash light and removed the blue and green lens. These actually worked for a 3d ad in a magazine.

ive learned in school about anaglyphs and your method theoritically shouldnt work, but i didnt check it out, cause i coulndt find my glasses. Why it shouldnt work? here it goes:
1. close left eye and look on right edge of your monitor (you should see your nose)
2. quickly close left eye and open right eye - you should notice a little displacement of images. now look on window (or something else, about 5m further) and repeat trick with eyes. displacement is smaller. as object further, the displacement smaller. thats how human eye detects 3d.
heres my one, which should THERITICALLY work. practicly wont... try changing glasses to the other side...
allright, this topic is hot and 3d websites may be future, but now it 3:15 in the morning and im goning to bed :] ill find my glasses tomor... today and ill play with stereoscopia tom... today :]

Yeah it works. Looks like a 2.5D stereo effect. But yes, the further away the shorter the offset should be.

lol dude, ur picture is very, very good :] didnt thought it would be so nice ;] nice drawing by the way... and what about my effect, i ve made it using swift 3d demo ( :) ) and just moving the camera 5cm left and right. Ill play around it, and i think that making fully 3d project would be sooooo extremly cool, that im getting to work :] even our gamer could add 3d into body collector for example :]

heres my 3 new anaglyphs. ive found my book of physics and now ive made these 3 pictures. To get the best effects, youve got to zoom or even watch them in fullscreen mode. these are all simply 3d primitives, im not talented in 3d (2d also :( )
ill try to download some 3d shapes and make something better, but not today.
