Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Rotating Transparent Image Issue!
I'm having quite the issue here..
I have imported a transparent gif into my simple 2 frame sample movie. The image shows up transparent fine.
The issue is, when I go to animate the picture and simply rotate it 90 degrees....it doesn't really behave how you'd expect it to.
Basically, the image rotates itself, but it also becomes garbled in the animation process and duplicates itself during the transition....
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I attached my simple 2 frame fun movie.
Thanks again.

U tryed convert it to mc then rotate the mc??
U tryed convert it to mc then rotate the mc??
I admit..I'm kind of a newbie with koolmoves....I can't say I know what "mc" stands for?
I looked up mc jargon..and found that you meant Movie Clip!!! This method actually did seem to work!!
Are there any downfalls to this (movie size increase or such)? And why do I have to do this conversion for this to work? I'm just curious as to why I can't just rotate the image and have it do the same thing?
Another ?..after I converted the image to a movie clip...I appears as if though all my angles of rotation between KoolMoves and the actual movie are reversed!
ie.) In Koolmoves my guy's head is facing right..but when I play the movie its facing left? I guess I can deal with this, but its going to make looking at the movie while I make it fairly confusing.

There is a bug in the Flash player that sometimes shows up in displaying images. Putting the image inside a movie clip sometimes helps. Changing dimensions also sometimes helps.
I have demonstrated that this bug also shows up in Flash created swfs. The bug has been there for a long time and has never been fixed.
