Good Afternoon
I've created a filmstrip and two rectangles. I move the filmstrip to the left and the rectangles in and out to highlight a photo on the middle.
Everytime I get to a specific frame, what I'm trying no longer works. The rectangles and filmstrip do no continue to do what they are supposed to. I'm using version 6.12 and you can find the swf at:http://www.owatonnahuskiesbasketball.com/flash.htm
I've also included the fun file if that helps.
I really need help with this one as it makes no sense to my why all at once this stops working.
Thanks

I don't understand what the problem is. It looks like it's fine

The movie seems to go wrong at the end. I looked at your .fun file, but to figure out what exactly the problem is, you should have included the filmstrip.

Sorry about that. I'm attaching the filmstrip to this post. I also attached another .fun file. Any help would be appreciated.
I have noticed one thing. I have the movie size 750 px wide and 220 px tall. If I widen the movie size, it seems to work better. I'm not sure why this would be. I know that I need to have the movie only be 750 px wide.
Again, ay help would be appreciated

I've also noticed that when I made th movie wider, mhy filmstrip got cut off. I'm really getting confused on something that should be so simple.

Good Morning
For those of you that are trying to help with this, may I say I'm sorry for all of the attachment confusion. I have created the file from scratch, still having the same issues and am attaching both the .fun file and the filmstrip jpg file to this post.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

My guess is that a position limit in flash has been exceeded. Whether this is a bug or not is hard to say.
I suggest a different way of doing this. Rather than shift the shape with the image, shift the image fill associated with the shape (Tranforms > Shift Image Fill) and make the shape the width of the movie frame.
An alternative method is to break the image in half at one of the frame dividers and use your current approach but with the one image half and then the other image half.

I don't think it's a KM bug. Changing the Flash version to 8 in the Export Settings, solves the jerky transition just before the end of the movie.

As I see it the problem is that the image loses registration with the right/left grayed areas near the end of the movie.
Positions are stored in the swf in terms of twips. A pixel is 20 twips. The allowed range is +/- 65,535 twips. The image is 2810 pixel wide (56, 200 twips). Depending on where the shape is relative to the movie frame, it is highly likely that the 65, 535 number is exceeded and is clipped inside KoolMoves on export.
Breaking the image in two seems like the best solution.

I have not tried to break the movie into to filmstrips yet, but I will say that when changing the flash version to 8 in the export settings seemed to work out great. Can anyone explain why that may be or what I might run into because of it?
Thanks

I don't doubt that Bob is correct on this issue, but despite his explanation there doesn't seem to be a problem when exporting the movie as Flash 8. The answer why this works I gladly leave to the experts.
As far as I know you will not run into anything out of the ordinary with the Flash 8 setting. Perhaps an occasional user who has an outdated player version. ;)
