I sketch out my cartoons on paper, scan and then colorize from there...I was wondering what would be the proper file format to "save as" in Painshop Pro or Photoshop to make my artwork a vecta graphic for use in KoolMoves? Is this possible?

I don't believe either tool will save in a vector format. Johnie is the expert on this so maybe he will answer this thread.

I used johnie's Star Office approach for this sort of thing. Here's where he talks about it and possibly some others:

Hope this helps.

The newest Photoshop will save in vector formats but it is pretty bad at it. Like it was said before you will need to vectorize your graphic. This can be done with Illustrator and Photoshop, Star Office, Adobe Streamline, or Photo Line 32.

I have had the best luck with Star Office and Photo Line (Star office is Freeware and Photoline is a $60 shareware program)

I think The links to Star Office and Photoline have been posted already.
