Hi gang,
I've nearly completed my first fully Flash implemented web site. I have only to add a movie (storyboard is currently being reviewed by the Master of the TKD school).

I basically did, everything on this site, Flash, Photography, QTVR etc. It looks best when viewed trough Netscape Navigator. IE has a tendency to offset the flash module in the html page it resides in. I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it yet.

This side of the web site is basically the "carrot", a giant billboard if you will to get people to come to the school. I'm going to develop a "student" side for more practical information for the students fairly soon but I may give it a 50/50 Flash/Dreamweaver programming ratio.

I welcome your thoughts and criticism. So far I've had pretty good feedback about my hidden (but easy-to-find) navigation. Hillman Curtis and turtleshell.com were big influences in some of the decisions I made. I did a great deal of research for other “local” Taekwondo web sites before I began this project—on a global level. So you’ll pardon me if I seem “proud” in my titling this thread “America’s Best (looking) Tae Kwon Do Center.

Keep me toasted.

Is there anything else except that one page? You must upload more if you want real site check.

Hey,
have viewed your site too. (I'm wizard - from the Solus site you looked at earlier).
Cool, especially as my Boss and I both do TKD aswell!
Infact we've got training tonight.
We're thinking of doing a site for our school too maybe.
- We'll see. Keep up the flashing!
My only slight worry is that you seem to prefer netscape ???!! Mate, IE is the best - works aswell!
Ta for your comments and good luck with future projects...

Once you got to the "Welcome" page, didn't you explore a little with your mouse? You can click on the logo bass relief on the left. There's a whole site there, trust me.

IE is my problem. The only thing that happens when you look at it in IE is the flash module moves north/west about 25 pixels. Got any ideas how to fix this?

BTW: I'm going to have to skip training tonight, my son is sick. Family belts: me 8th gup (yellow belt), son 7th gup (green tip), wife 5th gup (blue tip). It's not often you can find something the whole family can do.

- I can't tell that the flash movie is in a wrong position but if it is, I think the most likely reason for it is that you have placed your flash movie on a layer for some reason.
Try just inserting it normally i.e. take the div tags out and just have the embedded object.
Also, to the body tag of the page add:
leftmargin=0 topmargin=0 marginwidth=0 marginheight=0
If that don't sort it check that you haven't got a stoneaged version of ie...Well, gotta go and kick some A**!
TTYL,
wizard. :-)
