Hi gang,
I've nearly completed my first fully Flash implemented web site. I have only to add a movie (storyboard is currently being reviewed by the Master of the TKD school).
I basically did, everything on this site, Flash, Photography, QTVR etc. It looks best when viewed trough Netscape Navigator. IE has a tendency to offset the flash module in the html page it resides in. I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it yet.
This side of the web site is basically the "carrot", a giant billboard if you will to get people to come to the school. I'm going to develop a "student" side for more practical information for the students fairly soon but I may give it a 50/50 Flash/Dreamweaver programming ratio.
I welcome your thoughts and criticism. So far I've had pretty good feedback about my hidden (but easy-to-find) navigation. Hillman Curtis and turtleshell.com were big influences in some of the decisions I made. I did a great deal of research for other “local” Taekwondo web sites before I began this project—on a global level. So you’ll pardon me if I seem “proud” in my titling this thread “America’s Best (looking) Tae Kwon Do Center.
Keep me toasted.
