Simple question...
Hello,
I am using Swish 2.0 ...I don't do much with Flash or Swish...
I am building a header that has a background image...It is static throughout the entire animation...
I am trying to do a couple of things...
1. I am having a slogan and some key words slide in from the right.
2. At the same time I am also having "transparent (50%)" move back and forth on the header to give it a TV/static effect...
How do I make it so the text only slides in once and stays...and the lines that move back and forth keep looping?? Layers, Scenes,??
When I have the lines moving back an forth I am using the actions "slide in from..." "Slide out to .."...The problem is that I do not want them to slide out to the left or right all the way off the screen...In part of the animation I would like to make them jog back and forth a little...then slide off the screen...Do I use keypoints for this??
Also, I would like to have a drop shadow on the text that I am having slide in from the right...I have tried to import the text with the drop shadow and a transparent background, but it looks terrible...For now I have inserted text onto the header using the Swish Text tool...any advice on this would also be helpful...thanks

hi,
here's a VERY crude example. use sprites and move effects, also try playing with the easing settings in the move effect dialog.
the easiest way to have drop shadows is to duplicate the text. perhaps make the shadow text semi-transparent (text tab -> font color -> alpha < 100%).
