Import a whole .fla into a MC symbol?

Is there any easy way to import a whole flash movie file into a new symbol in a new flash file?
(Since movie clip symbols are pretty much whole movies unto themselves I thought this would have been easy but cant find a way)

If you go to the time line, select all the frames in all the levels and then use "Copy Frames", you can then use the window menu to switch to another movie and use "Paste Frames" inside another movieclip.

Mind you, to say that you can do it is not to say that I recommend it.
