I have input fields with a button so the user can change the text in the movie, but I need the text to be somewhat transparent. I tried putting the dynamic text into a symbol and lowering the alpha. It looks good on the stage, but when I publish it I the alpha goes back to 100%. Any suggestion??? -Thanks guys.
Include font outlines

i always find that including font outlines significantly increases the size of the final published swf
did you find this to be the case leakman??

I am in the beginning process of making the movie, but it was 12KB before and 13KB after, so not much of an increase.
