The english language. Hear it's awesome to program people with.
Poker lingo. Nut flush is king in my book.
what did I do wrong?
Depends on the type of task you need the language to do, but certainly and undeniably, Whitespace has proven to be one of the most flexible programming languages of the last decade. If you can't write in Whitespace, you are dumb.
But, if you're a newbie, I suggest you learn Malbolge, it's a simple programming language.
Although, I think you'd be more comfortable using LOLCODE
Lots of the software we use if developed in C/C++ or Java.
These are the languages i find to be very important. Some might be a little out of date, but you get the picture I hope.

No, that is false. CSS is not used for programming, but for styling. And, one can develop full featured webpages without ever touching CSS. But, I do agree with you the CSS makes web programming very easy and manageable.
AJAX is a philosophy to perform asynchronous HTTP requests, not a programming language. You write the scripts in Javascript or jQuery.
jQuery is a Javascript wrapper built in Javascript to bring a Javascript cross-browser compatible client.
My point is when your dealing with Javascript, AJAX, or jQuery. Your programming with Javascript.
By far, the most important language is (as it has been for decades) Cobol. Without cobol you wouldn't even be able to get your money out of the ATM
python.

I think, Java is the most important programming language. Though it has been criticized since its appearance, it is still a dominant. And there are reasons for this. Java has powerful traffic opportunities, cross-platform interoperability and squiggle brackets work. Android is completely built in Java, so it succeeded in the mobile apps market. Also Blu-Ray standard is built around Java. Recently I've read a good article that explains the reasons of Java dominance among other languages -

I think you must pay attention to Python. It is very popular as the main programming language and also in the second place as additional:

What do you mean important? According to the latest research, those are the most in-demand programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, Objective C, C#, .Net. Speaking about popularity, Python takes the first place with Java and JavaScript go next. Check the article for more: https://www.daxx.com/blog/developmen...per-salary-usa
C was, C is and C will be.
