I have figered out the Flash 6/MX thing!

You buy Flash MX which includes the Flash 6 creater with other stuff, like Generator templates etc

You can download Flash 6 Player.

I think this is right, I am probaly wrong, but it does make some sense...

Flash MX = The Authoring Tool which outputs the .swf format version 6 for use with the Flash 6 Player.

Generator has been discontinued but support is still available.

I new it was something like that!
