Search incredibly slow

I've noticed that the search function of this board is very slow indeed. When I enter a search it takes about 20 seconds for it displays any search results. Sometimes it doesn't display any results at all and displays a white pages with 'ready' mentioned in the browser's status bar. I've tried normal search and advanced search. It's becoming annoying to have to wait 20 seconds each time I'm entering some keywords to search for. :zzz:
