code MovieClip(this.root).nextScene(); can i specify the exact movieclip?

Hi,
iv made a time line with 2 movie clips:
2 layers, 2 movie clips, that starts lets say at frame 261.
the idea is that after one movieclip finishes it takes you to prev/next scene.

i dont know how to "tell" flash which scene should it open or which movieclip should he play before going to the other scene.

i know this code which takes you to prev/next scene but it cant tell which movieclip should move you there:

code MovieClip(this.root).nextScene();

is their a code someone knows that i can use?
