Hi everybody,
I have just received the Macromedia Flash Communication MX server software for free. The only problem is, I am not sure if I can use it with my current host. Do I need a special host to deploy applications, or will any one do? I currently use uplinkearth.com.

My suggestion is to contact their technical department. Right now FLash COm will only run on a windows machine. There is a certain amount of set up that will need to be done. Either you will need access to the correct levels of the server so that you can run it or you need someone there to do it for you. Like I said you really have to talk to them. Good Luck
