That happens sometimes. Usually logging out and logging back in fixes it.
it happened last week. i've shut down my computer several times since then.
am i uninstalling the program correctly by dragging it in the trashcan though?
press and hold cmd+option, click the trash can, and empty it.
it still doesnt work, lol.
oops. I meant press and hold CTRL+option/alt, click the trash can icon in the dock, then select empty trash. :p
dont worry, i tried it both ways - still doesnt work. i dont know whats up with this thing. its only one file in there. i was trying to delete adobe cs2 and theres a adobe cs2 folder in there with only an html document inside of that with a weird file name. if i take the folder out of the trashcan it is empty but if i put it back in the trashcan it stays full...everything will delete...jus not this file.
hmm. Get the information/properties of the said file (cmd+i), and see if it's locked. Uncheck it if it is, and try again.
Incidentally, what machine and OS are you using?
okay i'll try when i get off work....its at home...its an iMac OSX with all the latest updates.

does an error message popup when you try to erase that one file?
I hate when this happens, it's so annoying. It's just dodgy/lazy coding on Adobe's part.
You can try Secure Empty Trash, that sometimes clears it. Select Finder from the menu and press Secure Empty Trash.
I think it's an issue with unicode file names, the same problem happens with some of adobe's html legal documents flagging a problem in Disk Utility.
Rename the document and try deleting it.
