We use flash for Kiosks that are placed in VA hospitals for mapping purposes. I am wondering if it is possible to use flash to create an ID card reader for veterans using the kiosk. Could Flash recognise a card being swiped, read the ID and validate it? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
If you're using a type of card reader that attatches inline with the keyboard then yes, that would be easy. If you're using a type that plugs into a serial or USB port then it would be difficult if not impossible.
