Font wont work in flah 5 but it works fine in notepad

What do i have to do to make the font work in flash5..

Hmmm .... perhaps its a bitmap font, which won't work in Flash. the 'so-called' bitmap fonts like the ones from http://www.miniml.com aren't technically bitmap fonts, but vector fonts like any other. ...

If you open up your font control panel (Settings from the start menu), and choose Install new font off the file menu ... choose the font and install it .... restart Flash (cos its lazy and doesn't watch the font list for changes) ... if it doesn't appear then its not a valid font!

(but be sure to check that it doesn't have a weird name and appears elsewhere in the list from where you expected!)
