How do I use textures (or "materials" as it is called in 3D studio max) in 3D ?
I mean: In swift 3D i can apply different colors and gradients, but that's it.
For example: Look at http://www.2design4u.com
and go to "downloads".
There is a spinning floppy disk... How do I create such a thing??

You can get a floppy disk in the movie seciton on this site, in the 3d section. The floppy is all gradients. You will have to model somthing like that in a different 3D program like 3D max, Maya, etc. Regards, Bill
