Action Script 3 - Problem with a Button

I've just started working with AS3 , here I have a problem ,

I have made a button which should take me to a mentioned frame : for example it should take me to frame71 ,

this button is repeating in 10 frames , but only works on the first frame which has the script on ! I had to create 10 keyframes and write script for each of them !

what should I do to make it sense , it's not logical there should be a way to avoid this redoing , in AS2 I remember when we put an script for a symbol it would repeat in any frame that the symbol was in , but in AS3 it's kinda different ...

would anyone please help me and let me know what I'm doing wrong ?

You need to have the button in one frame block. To not have it appearing in other frames you need to make it invisible.
