Has anyone had any luck using the EXEC command in SwiffCANVAS? I have built a front-end to a promo CD in Flash. The CD includes several projects that I have done in Director and Authorware, and I thought that it would be nice to have a Flash interface to round out the holy trinity of Macromedia products. I can't seem to launch the external files from SwiffCANVAS using the FS Command exec feature, however.
The reason I wanted to use SwiffCANVAS for this piece is the ability to use an organically shaped projector, as well as launch a PDF file from the Flash projector.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can work around this using the "LaunchPath" variable from the "SwiffCANVAS.dat" file that is placed in the temp.
directory on every projector launch. It contains the path to the folder from where to projector was launched.
You need to prefix the path with "file://" like this:
Load Variables ("file:///[path from SwiffCANVAS.dat]\[your local file.txt]", 0)
This seems to be a common problem so I'll fix documentation on this issue.
