Is this more of a server question, and If so, where do I take it? Is there a way to crunch a 9K .swf file down tighter so it will upload more efficiently (yes, I tried the publish settings, they didn't seem to help)? BTW I am using a 56k modem, being unable to upgrade in my present working environment...Any help is always appreciated.

Hi,
any chance you are using ftp? you might be uploading in ascii mode...

No, I am using an FTP program called CoffeeCup. I can select binary or ASCII should I need to, if not it decides on its own which is the one to use. I have tried uploading both ways with little success. I haven't had this problem with other servers and .swf...

Just a wild guess and maybe improbable but it could be that your host/server only permits a ridiculously small file size upload...

No, I have bigger files in there-but no other .swf currently. Good call though...
