i tried to mask the sprite(ellipse), the bottom layer and
write the text over the sprite . I include motion to the sprite, so that when the sprite cross the text , only the text is visible. But i can't make it unless the text and the background is same in colour.
How to make the text visible only when the ball cross the text?

hi,
what u r doing actually is making text and background as same color and passing a different color circle on it.
do one thing give motion to circle as u r doing at present
and right click on its layer and in that select mask.
then see it will give the desired spotted light effect.
