would it be possible to create a skeletal system in flash? one that works with gravity and hit detection? so i could allow the user to "throw" the torso against a wall, have it fall to the ground, and have all the limbs follow accordingly? lol.. not saying that's what i wanna do, just an example. anyway, anyone know how this could be done?

sure it can be done and i´ve seen sevral attempts, the only one i had in my bookmarks is this one from wireframe:
http://www.vectorlounge.com/04_amste...wireframe.html
(it´s also the best one i´ve seen up to date)

wow.. thanks man, that's an awesome site.
after seeing it though, i've decided not to try adding the whole "skeletal system" thing into my games.. that looks extremely complicated. especially since i'd be having the characters interact with each other, fighting and doing their thing. oh well
