Can't say more than nice :)
The use of pictures is what makes your site nice...but...Quote:

1. You may want to find a better solution to the scrolling text's such as in the profile...it's quite slow and not easy to use...maybe add an up and down scroll buttons.
2. Using the same type of color is nice, personally giving more color to the site would do great. You would be amazed what those (hue/saturation) and brightness effects can do...
Anyway...It's looking good.
Nice uncluttered site: Only problems are with some of the text: under the "profil" page the text scrolls by itself, and it does not scroll smoothly. I personally would prefer to scroll the text myself with a button or scroll bar. Also, I find the text difficult to read as it scrolls over the background picture(granted, my german is rather dusty, but still) and the colour of the text makes it even less legible. I also think the bright green text does not go with the overall feel of the site: toned down and subtle but proffesional. Maybe you should put in a semi-transparent flat colour behind the text.
same here, add some scroll bars !!
thank you all for comments
yes the text IS choppy, that´s because of the embedded fonts when masking a movieclip.. and you´re absolutely right about using of traditional scrolling, but this just felt more theadral way of doing it (+my boss loved it), and when considering that majority of MAC-users don´t have the middle-button in the mouse it seemed reasonable to make a platform-independed solution. But it is slow and almost annoying actually, so i´ll change that.
the colour palette was another neverending issue, ended up choosing this out of about 17 different combinations, to have a solid basic athmosphere with, but not too much of "youngness". in the beginning i had that green as the background colour and somehow it found it´s way to the final as well, but i agree something else might have worked better.
I could scrutinize the site and find small issues that could be improved, but overall I think the site looks good and proper for a cutting edge architecture firm. As an architect myself, I can say that I'm drawn to your color combination (subtle, yet with a splash of more daring colors). I like the way the monotone images are used, but I believe you could probably get MUCH better images than some of the ones you are showing... from a photographer's standpoint, they're not appealing. I use the same text scrolling in my portfolio site (which some people on flashkit found impractical) and have kept it because it is a nice effect and keeps the layout uncluttered with unnecessary buttons. One suggestion pertaining to your menu is to make the zooming centered to the original text.Quote:
